Civilization Discussions
The book consists of seventeen articles, revised by the authors of the papers presented at the symposium to take the form of articles. The book is divided into five sections: "Ahmed bin Bella and Garaudy: Their Lives and Struggles," "Civilization as a Worldview," "Islamic Civilization: Past and Future," "Critiques of Civilization," and "Intellectual Discussions on Civilization in Turkey."
In the book titled "Civilization Discussions," there are articles by Syed Farid Alatas, Mustafa Aydın, Cemal Aydın, Salim Aydüz, Muhittin Bilge, Murat Çemrek, Mustafa Demirci, Necmettin Doğan, Tahsin Görgün, Vahdettin Işık, Veli Karataş, Yunus Kaya, Semiha Khelifa, Yacob Mahi, Stjepan Mestrovic, Mustafa Tekin, and İbrahim Halil Üçer.
This work sheds light on the debates in our intellectual world about the concept of civilization and is thought to provide opportunities for new conceptual and functional evaluations.
