International ILEM Summer School 8 is ready to call for papers!
IISS is an international-scale study that brings together the academic accumulation and perspectives of different geographies around a set agenda and allows intellectual sharing. The broader theme of the 8th edition of the summer school will be "Rethinking Art and Aesthetics in the Islamic World: Concepts, Theories, and Practices".
This year’s IISS will be organized by ILEM in July 2023, with the supports of Presidency for Turks Abroad and Related Communities (YTB), Yunus Emre Institute, Research Centre For Islamic History, Art and Culture (IRCICA), Fatih Sultan Mehmet Vakıf University, Reed Society for the Sacred Arts and Oranje Instituut.
For the IISS-8, applications are accepted (in English) from those who are interested in related issues among Ph.D. students and junior scholars all around the world.
